Delivery 3

This delivery did not go as planned. In the beginning of this delivery period, both developers had vacation. Then one of us was busy holding a Java course at TMA for a week. In the last part of the period the hisp server was mostly down, so jira was not used to document our work. This period was mostly used to support the other users on the mailinglist and doing minor changes/updates to the code

Initial goals for this delivery

• Hibernate implementation of OrganizationStore
• Benchmark/integration test for DataStore Hibernate implementation.
  • Use existing indicators from DHIS 1.4.
  • Dump data from 1.4 and compare exists.
• Support for import/export for data in the DataStore
• Lightweight database maintenance web module

Work that was done

• Hibernate implementation of OrganizationStore
• Integration tests are partly in place
• Fixes all around the core, updating the code to reflect new requests

Summary

Benchmark for DataStore is now on hold. The group working on alternative persistance is also looking into this, a benchmark test should work on all implementations. Import/export for data is on hold. Lightweight database maintenance web module will be developed by the developer team in India.

This period was mainly used to support the other developers and discuss issues in the core.
