District Health Information Software (DHIS)

This space is dedicated to the current version of the District Health Information Software (DHIS), which is in active use in a number of countries, as well as to the upcoming version, 1.4. See also DHIS2:Home for version 2.x which will be cross-platform.

The 1.x series is based on Microsoft Office technology, primarily MS Access, but also MS Excel.

The 1.4 version brings large scale changes to the technical underpinnings (more flexible database), which also translates into enhanced functionality and a more customizable user interface.
