This page contains files related to various versions of the DHIS 2.0 software.
If this is the first time you download DHIS 2, get the ready-made installer instead of the files listed below. For more detailed info, see the installation documentation.
Download DHIS 2.0
The DHIS 2.0 software is implemented as a web application. DHIS 2.0 is released in milestones. See the roadmap for more information on what the various milestones contain, and for what is planned.
There are three types of files:
- WAR-files are archives containing all compiled modules necessary to run the software. They are started inside a web server like Jetty or Tomcat. If you are an administrator, and just want to install and run the software, this file is for you.
- DEMO WAR-files are archives containing all compiled modules necessary to run the software, including demo data. If you want a demo of the software, this is the file for you.
- Source archives are compressed archives of the source code, which must be compiled before it is run. If you are a developer and/or want to change the code, you probably want this. See the developer documentation on how to do this.

SVN repository
It is possible to check out a bleeding edge version of the code. See the developer documentation for information on how to do this. Note that these versions represent work in progress and may be unstable, buggy, or it may corrupt your data. Do not use these versions in a production environment.
